Study MBA Without Bachelor Degree

Following are the top universities and colleges that offer students the opportunity to study for a postgraduate business degree (such as MBA) even without a bachelor’s degree:

Baldwin Wallace University (US) – Highly qualified applicants without a bachelor’s degree may be admitted into the EMBA Program, the Health Care MBA Program, or the Hybrid MBA Program (Highly qualified applicants refer to those who have a minimum of ten years of full-time professional level business experience). For the 18th consecutive year, US News & World Report listed Baldwin Wallace among the top 15 regional colleges and universities in the Midwest.

University of the West of England, Bristol (UK)- Applicants may still be considered for an MBA without having an undergraduate degree. In this case the School would be looking at individual’s work experience only and therefore this must be of a high level and relevant to the programme. Bristol UWE has been ranked 5th in England out of 83 Higher Education Institutions in the Teaching Quality Assessment League table published in the Times Higher Education Supplement.

Robert Gordon University (Aberdeen Business School) (UK) – Business Week has recognised the online MBA of Aberdeen Business School in the ranking list since 2008. To gain admission to the online MBA, applicants should normally hold a first degree (at honours level at a first class or second class upper or equivalent) and have at least three years professional experience. However, applicants without an honours degree may be allowed access to the online MBA degree by completing one of the Graduate Certificate courses.

Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM) (Australia) – The MGSM Master of Business Administration was ranked among the world’s top 100 MBA programs by The Economist Which MBA (2011). For those without an undergraduate degree but have a minimum of five years relevant work experience (managerial or professional), they can enrol in either a Postgraduate Certificate or Postgraduate Diploma and can progress to the MBA via the successful completion of each program level.

University of Adelaide (Australia) – There are two pathways into the Adelaide MBA program. Students who have completed an undergraduate degree may apply for direct entry to the Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, Adelaide MBA or Adelaide MBA (Advanced) programs. For those who do not have an undergraduate degree but have at least seven years of managerial work experience and meet all other entry requirements, they may apply for entry through the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration. Upon completion of the Graduate Certificate candidates may be eligible to transfer into the Graduate Diploma or Adelaide MBA programs.
