According to the Canadian Business’ 2011 MBA Guide, the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University is ranked 1st in Canada for average starting salary post-MBA (at $112,000), and it is the only school with a starting salary over $100,000. Desautels also continues to have the highest percentage change in post-graduation salary at 129% (the only school to have a percentage change over 100% for 2 years in a row) and the highest percentage of international faculty (at 85%).
Dalhousie University is ranked 2nd among the top MBAs in Canada by R.O.I., followed by DeGroote School of Business (McMaster University) in 3rd place and Schulich School of Business (York University) in 4th place. According to the Canadian Business, an MBA at York University is an excellent investment. 2011 graduates saw their salary increased by 83 percent from $48,700 to $89,000.
Brock University’s MBA program is ranked 9th in the list of programs that lead to the biggest pay raises. It is also one of only 3 Ontario universities to make the list. Brock University graduates see their salaries increased by 64 percent from $38,571 to $63,318. The Brock MBA program is one of the few MBA programs in the country that offers course exemptions that will shorten the duration of study and cost of the program.
